Investigation underway after Pekin woman dies from accident at her home
PEKIN, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Pekin woman died Tuesday evening after being involved in an accident at her home. According to Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley, officials were called to the woman's house at 6:38 p.m. by a neighbor. When authorities arrived, they found the woman who had suffered injuries from an accident in her driveway. Hanley said she was pronounced dead at the scene. "An autopsy will be held today (Wednesday). Further information will be released at a later time," according to the coroner's Facebook page. This case remains under investigation by the Pekin Police Department and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
