Investigation launched into fatal I-70 WB crash
In Huber Heights, Ohio, a late-night crash on I-70 westbound resulted in the temporary closure of all lanes, but they have since been reopened. The Huber Heights Police Division responded to the incident around 10 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, they discovered a white sedan with significant damage and a semi-truck near mile marker 36 on the right side of the interstate. An initial investigation revealed that the sedan driver allegedly stopped in the right lane without using lights, leading to a chain reaction. Tragically, the sedan driver was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead. Fortunately, the semi driver was unharmed. Poor visibility due to snowfall was noted at the time of the crash, and investigations are ongoing.
