Investigation into Schoharie double fatal collision
Authorities in Schoharie, New York are looking into a tragic car accident that resulted in two fatalities early on Sunday. The New York State Police arrived at the crash site on Richard Hill Road after receiving a call about a single-vehicle collision around 12:56 a.m. The incident took place at the intersection of Richard Hill Road and Mossy Cliff Lane, where a car veered off the road and crashed into a tree, subsequently catching fire. The driver, a 59-year-old man from Kissimmee, Florida, lost his life at the scene, while a 50-year-old woman, who was also in the vehicle, was rescued by passersby. Despite being transported to Albany Medical Center, the woman sadly did not survive her injuries.
