Investigation into Fatal Accident
In Hyde County, North Carolina, a tragic incident occurred on December 15 involving a two-vehicle collision at an intersection. Sadly, a 12-year-old lost his life in the accident. The initial findings suggest that the young operator of a dirt bike, with a 10-year-old passenger, was headed north on High Road and failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to a collision with an SUV traveling west on Nebraska Road. Both riders were thrown off the dirt bike, and it's noted that neither were wearing helmets at the time. The operator passed away on the way to East Care, while the passenger was airlifted to ECU Health in Greenville with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Authorities are actively investigating the incident.
