Inspirational teacher promotes kindness in students after personal loss.

After experiencing a personal tragedy, a teacher in the Philadelphia area has been motivating her students and beyond to spread positivity and kindness. Kristina Ulmer's sister passed away in a car accident in 2014, and after finding some cash in her sister's wallet, Ulmer decided to use it to teach a lesson on kindness during her English class at Hatboro-Horsham High School. She initiated the "$20 Kindness Challenge," where she gives each student $20 to use towards a good deed of their choice. The project has gained momentum, with students donating to various causes and coming together to make a positive impact in their community. Ulmer's initiative has not only impacted her students but has also inspired other educators nationwide to start their own kindness projects. The students' enthusiasm and generosity have made Ulmer feel a sense of fulfillment and hope for the future, as she believes that this new generation of students will make a difference in the world.
