Injuries reported in Warren crash; car heavily damaged
WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - Five people were sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash Monday morning. Police and an ambulance were sent to Fairmount Avenue NE and E. Market Street after two cars collided shortly before 10:30 a.m. A viewer provided photos to WKBN, showing heavy damage to the front of both vehicles. A report was not available on the crash on Monday afternoon, but a call log from police indicates that victims were taken to the hospital. The Warren Professional Fire Fighters Local 204 posted on Facebook, stating that EMS was requested from EMT, Howland and Lane LifeTrans. The post states that three occupants were extricated by emergency personnel. Their conditions are unknown. Joe Gorman contributed to this report.
