Injuries reported after crash on I-96 near Lowell, police say
LOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — At least one person is seriously hurt in a crash on westbound I-96 south of Lowell, where traffic was diverted off the highway, police say. The crash, which only involved one vehicle, happened Tuesday afternoon near I-96 and Alden Nash Avenue SE in Lowell Township, according to Michigan State Police. It’s not clear what led up to it or how many people were hurt. Westbound traffic on I-96 was diverted at Nash Highway, MSP said. The road has since reopened.
