Identity revealed in fatal accident near Vermillion.
Authorities in South Dakota have identified the individual who passed away in a Vermillion area crash. Initial reports indicate that Paul Adam Winslow was operating a 2024 Subaru Outback northbound when his vehicle veered off the road, crossed the median, and entered the southbound lane. This resulted in a collision with the back of a southbound Toyota Tundra, leading both vehicles to come to a stop in the west ditch. Winslow was taken to a Sioux City hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the other car received on-site medical care and was subsequently discharged. The Highway Patrol, part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, is overseeing the investigation.
