Identity of elderly female confirmed as victim in deadly pedestrian accident in SE Portland
A tragic pedestrian crash in Southeast Portland claimed the life of Grey J. Wolfe, an 87-year-old Portland resident. The incident occurred near Southeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard and Southeast Harrison Street early Wednesday morning. Authorities were alerted to the crash around 5:40 a.m. in the Richmond Neighborhood. Upon arrival, police found Wolfe deceased at the scene after being struck by a 2004 Suzuki Aerio driven by a woman traveling south on SE Cesar E. Chavez. The driver has been cooperating with the ongoing investigation, and no arrests or citations have been made. Portland police are actively investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
