A tragic incident occurred in Spartanburg on Friday morning, resulting in the loss of a 26-year-old man named Michael Dakota Dre Johnson from Boiling Springs. The coroner reported that Johnson was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Bryant Rd. where his car struck a tree. The driver had veered off the road, overcorrected, and ultimately collided with a tree. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
