Identifying 2 teens in fatal hit-and-run in West Sacramento
Two 17-year-old girls who tragically lost their lives in a hit-and-run incident in West Sacramento on Saturday night have been named. Layla Chrissa Clemons and Jaea Chatman were identified as the victims. Layla's mother shared a photo of her daughter with KCRA 3. Authorities were alerted to the crash involving a pedestrian at Jefferson Boulevard and Bevan Road around 9 p.m., with an ensuing investigation leading to the identification of the vehicle and suspect.
