IDENTIFIED: Fresno man dies in Clovis after crashing Honda ‘Grom’
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 35-year-old man died in Clovis after he crashed while riding a Honda “Grom” motorcycle Friday night, according to the Clovis Police Department. Police say that around 11 p.m., officers responded to Ashlan and Thompson avenues in response to a report of a motorcycle crash. The Fresno County Coroner’s office has identified the rider as 35-year-old James McCall of Fresno. Officers and EMS attempted life-saving efforts, but the motorcycle rider died. Investigators say their Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) was called out to investigate the circumstances of the collision. According to police, the investigation indicates that McCall hit a stationary object on or near the sidewalk.
