Identification of Victim in Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Batavia Township
A tragic incident occurred in Batavia Township on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to another after a motorcycle collision. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Chapel Road near State Route 132 at about 4 p.m. According to OSHP, the motorcycle, ridden by 37-year-old Paul Creed who was not wearing a helmet, was passing a vehicle eastbound on Chapel Road when it collided with another car traveling westbound. The car was being driven by a juvenile who, fortunately, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. OSHP is currently investigating the incident.
