Identification of person killed in tragic Hyde Park accident
Authorities in Hyde Park are currently investigating a tragic car accident that occurred on Sunday, resulting in the death of a driver identified as 28-year-old Alijah Johnson from Hyde Park. The incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 9 and Huyler Drive, involving a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Honda Accord. The driver of the pickup truck, a 46-year-old man from Kingston, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Mid-Hudson Regional Medical Center. While no charges have been filed as of now, the investigation is still ongoing.
