Identification of cyclist killed in Northeast Portland car crash.
A tragic incident in Northeast Portland in October claimed the life of a bicyclist, identified as Felipe Barajas-Nolazco, 55, who was struck by a car while cycling on Northeast Glisan Street on the evening of October 29. Portland police confirmed that the driver involved in the crash cooperated with investigators and will not face charges as their actions were determined not to have caused the collision. According to the Portland Police Bureau, the bicyclist was traveling westbound in the bike lane when the collision occurred with a passing vehicle also traveling westbound. Emergency responders were called to the crash scene on Northeast Glisan Street where the bicyclist was pronounced dead.
