Identification of Aurora Woman as Victim in Deadly Franklin Co. Crash

A tragic incident is being looked into by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department concerning a deadly car collision that took place on Sunday evening in Blooming Grove, Indiana. The incident occurred at the crossing of State Road 1 and Davis Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. Deputies who arrived at the scene found a maroon Dodge Ram pickup truck where the driver, identified as Jacqueline Korb, 38, from Aurora, Indiana, was found deceased in the driver’s seat. From the initial examination, it appears that the Dodge Ram was heading south on State Road 1 when a northbound vehicle hit a deer. The impact caused the deer to go airborne and crash through the windshield of the pickup truck. Unfortunately, Korb passed away at the scene of the accident. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
