I-80 lanes shut down due to 3-vehicle crash in Salt Lake County, heavy delays
MAGNA, Utah (ABC4) -- The eastbound lanes of I-80 have been closed in Salt Lake County near the border of Tooele County due to a fatal crash, according to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP). A three-vehicle crash occurred on I-80 Eastbound at Mile Post 105, near Magna, according to UHP. The crash reportedly occurred around 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Feb. 21. Drivers can use Eastbound SR-201 as an alternate route. "Plan for heavy delays between Tooele and SLC," the Utah Dept. of Transportation (UDOT) posted on social media. While this crash has been confirmed to have involved a fatality, further details on the crash, including the cause, are not available at this time.
