A tragic incident occurred on the exit ramp of a highway in Detroit, where a driver lost control of their vehicle, resulting in a fatal rollover. The Michigan State Police responded to the scene of the accident, located at the exit ramp of I-75 and Schaefer, after receiving reports of a rollover crash on Monday afternoon. The driver, who was heading north and entered the ramp, appeared to be speeding, causing them to lose control and veer off into a grassy area where their vehicle struck a metal guard rail and overturned onto its roof. The driver's identity has not yet been disclosed by the police. The crash forced the closure of the ramp for several hours while authorities worked to clear the scene. The ramp has since reopened. First Lieutenant Mike Shaw emphasized the dangers of excessive speed, noting that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
