I-70 eastbound closed near Silver Plume after multi-vehicle crash
DENVER (KDVR) — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near Silver Plume has closed eastbound lanes amid heavy snowfall. There were injuries in the crash, the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office said at 5:45 p.m. on Friday when announcing the closure. It happened between the Bakerville and Silver Plume exits at mile marker 223 and the sheriff's office says there are multiple crashes in that stretch of highway. There is another closure at the Eisenhower Tunnel. FOX31 will update as more information becomes available.
