I-70 closed in Wabaunsee County due to crash
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Kansas transportation officials report I-70 traffic is slowed near McFarland due to a crash. The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) reports via KanDrive.gov that I-70 was closed briefly in the McFarland area due to a crash during the afternoon hours of June 5. A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper told 27 News that more than one person is injured as a result of this incident. The KHP said, as of 5:40 p.m. on June 5, one lane is open eastbound while the westbound lanes are fully open to traffic. People are encouraged to remain cautious while driving through this area as first responders work in the area. We are tracking this story.
