I-270 in Montgomery County Experiences Major Delays Due to Multi-Vehicle Collision
A serious accident involving multiple vehicles has led to extensive traffic backups on the southbound side of Interstate 270 in Montgomery County. The incident occurred after 6:30 a.m. beyond Montrose Road (Exit 4), prompting the closure of all lanes while emergency personnel arrived at the scene. While all lanes have since been reopened, traffic congestion continues, particularly starting near Shady Grove Road. Authorities have confirmed at least one person injured in the crash, which is currently being investigated.
