I-25 N closed in North Denver due to crash, several injured
A collision on I-25 resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of the highway near 120th Avenue in the northern Denver metro area for about four hours last Sunday. The incident involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle, with individuals from both vehicles being transported to local hospitals for treatment. Although the exact number of people injured was not provided, all injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. Officials cautioned motorists about the prolonged closure of I-25N as crews worked to clear the scene, which involved the assistance of multiple tow trucks to move the semi-truck away from a CDOT electronic sign and remove scattered packages from the road. Traffic heading north was temporarily directed to exit at 120th Avenue and re-enter from there. The interstate was reopened around 11 a.m., and authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
