I-15 traffic jam due to fatal accident from Salt Lake City to Lehi
A fatal rear-end collision on Wednesday morning led to the closure of all lanes on I-80 Eastbound to Northbound at the I-15 entrance, as per Utah Highway Patrol (UHP). Due to the accident, traffic congestion stretched from Salt Lake City to Lehi, affecting the morning commute. UHP reported that a red Jeep collided with a black Dodge pickup at around 7:38 a.m., resulting in the death of the Jeep's driver.
