Early on Thursday morning in Maplewood, a car crashed into a utility pole on Big Bend Boulevard at Folk Avenue, causing significant damage. The incident left around 300 households without power, and it will take some time for repairs to be completed. Fortunately, the crash was a single-vehicle accident involving just one individual, who sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The road was briefly closed but has since reopened to traffic.
