Homestead basketball star in stable condition after crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — According to a post by Southwest Allen County Schools, student and basketball player Myah Epps is in "stable condition" following a car crash. The Homestead coaching staff confirmed to WANE 15 that the crash happened early Friday morning near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Getz Road. The initial police investigation from the crash only identified the injured driver as an 18-year-old woman as the driver with injuries, now identified as Epps by coaches. The University of Louisville commit was a key piece of the Homesteads successful season , punctuated by a 42 point night against Snider in January. Epps was also a Junior All-Star selection last season.
