Highway Closure After Thursday Morning Crash
As per the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, an incident occurred at approximately 9:40 on Highway 13/160 near Reeds Spring. A 44-year-old driver from Reeds Spring was waiting to turn into a driveway when his vehicle was rear-ended by a 75-year-old driver from Nixa, pushing the stopped vehicle into oncoming traffic. The Nixa driver was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for medical attention, while the other drivers were unharmed. The road was temporarily closed as crews responded to the scene.
