Highway 4 crash disrupts traffic in Bay Point on Monday morning
Several lanes of eastbound Highway 4 in Bay Point were closed on Monday morning due to a crash, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The lanes were reopened by 8:30 a.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene at 6:33 a.m. just east of Bailey Road, where it seemed two vehicles were involved in the collision based on CHP's incident log. Initially, all lanes were blocked around 6:53 a.m., with the far right lane reopening at 7 a.m. Commuters were encouraged to find alternate routes and anticipate delays.
