High school students injured in California from car collision

Numerous students were hurt in an incident in Anaheim. The accident occurred at the crossing of North St. and Harbor Blvd. at 2:59 p.m. on Wednesday. The young individuals were running as part of Anaheim High School's running club when a red sedan hit them. They were waiting for the traffic light to change when the vehicle suddenly veered towards them. Police suspect that the driver may have been driving under the influence. Both the driver and multiple teenagers were taken to the hospital. Approximately eight teens were impacted by the collision, with three in critical condition. A neighbor named Sonia Chavez expressed that the scene was distressing, witnessing injured kids on the ground. A club member mentioned that the driver lost control and didn't stop, crashing through the light. School officials have announced that counseling services will be provided for the affected students and staff.
