Helicopter crash in Dawson County
Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a downed aircraft Friday night within Dawson County.The Dawson County Sheriff's Office, alongside county fire and EMS personnel, dispatched to a helicopter crash. A FOX 5 camera showed crime scene tape, a police car and another vehicle blocking an area outside metro Atlanta.The National Transportation Safety Board is currently handling all media inquiries. Federal officials stated they received notice of the incident but have no extra details to share at this time.Federal authorities have not confirmed whether they will officially launch an investigation. It also remains unclear if anyone was injured or died in the crash.
