Crash on Mass Pike in West Springfield causing delays
WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Drivers heading eastbound on the Massachusetts Turnpike should expect delays during the morning commute Tuesday. The Massachusetts State Police told 22News that troopers were called at around 5 a.m. for a crash involving a tractor-trailer. The driver struck a guardrail on the eastbound side at the 42.8 mile marker. The crash, between Exit 41 in Westfield and Exit 45 in West Springfield, caused heavy delays. The left lane was closed for repair and has since reopened. No injuries were reported.
