A man tragically lost his life in a deadly accident involving an electronic scooter in Hampton. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of G Street and Ashworth Avenue. The victim, identified as Joseph Pepin, 34 years old, was found unconscious and not breathing when authorities arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on-site. Surveillance footage revealed that Pepin had lost control of the e-scooter, resulting in the crash. It was noted that he was not wearing a helmet at the time and there were no other vehicles involved.
