German Village restaurant reopens after car crashes into building

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A German Village restaurant will reopen Monday evening after a car crashed into the building Sunday night. "Last night, South Village Grille officially joined a club we never wanted to be a part of. If you're from Columbus, you probably already know the one," the restaurant wrote in a social media post. The post mentioned that no one was injured. The restaurant, located on Thurman Avenue said an inspector gave the all-clear, which will allow the restaurant to reopen Monday evening. The post went on to thank the community for the messages, comments and phone calls. "We'll see you tonight. And if we could ask one small favor... please use the front door," the restaurant wrote.
