Georgia man killed in tragic I-71 accident
In Warren County in the early hours of Saturday morning, a tragic single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 23-year-old man. Charles Watkins from La Fayette, Georgia, was driving a 2023 Honda CRV north on I-71 when the vehicle veered off the road, causing it to roll multiple times and ejecting him onto the southbound lanes. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities from various agencies responded to the incident, including the Warren County Sheriff's Office, Warren County Coroner's Office, Turtle Creek Fire Department & EMS, and Jacob's Towing.
