Four individuals in hospital after accident sends vehicles into yards of Northridge residences
A multi-car accident in Northridge resulted in the hospitalization of four individuals on Monday night. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on N. Balboa Boulevard per the Los Angeles Fire Department. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered three vehicles were involved in the crash, with one car crashing into a tree in a home's front yard. The second vehicle ended up on a sidewalk across the street. A silver SUV, the third vehicle involved, sustained noticeable damage while remaining in the middle of the road. Firefighters had to extricate two individuals trapped in their vehicles. One driver, critically injured, was transported to a nearby hospital while three others with lesser injuries were also hospitalized. The Los Angeles Department of Transportation closed off Balboa between Rayen Street and Parthenia Street for the investigation.
