Four dead after wrong-way crash on I-40 in Canadian County
Four young adults were killed in a wrong-way crash along I-40 early Friday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Just after midnight, troopers with the OHP said a car was traveling the wrong way on I-40, near Czech Hall Rd., when it collided with another vehicle carrying four people. All four people in that car died at the scene. The victims have been identified as 20-year-old Kiercy Hickson, 19-year-old Quincy Jones, 18-year-old Haleigh Salazar, and Brad Palmer. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, OHP said.
