Fleming County school staff evaluating students after bus accident

FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56)—School leaders in Fleming County announced on Monday that one of the district's school buses was involved in an accident. In a May 18 Facebook post, Superintendent Brian Creasman noted that the driver and students who were on board were okay after the crash, which happened near the Plummer's Landing community. Students who were riding on Bus 36 will be evaluated at the Fleming County Schools district office, according to a Facebook post from the district. "Students are being transported to the district office, so staff and EMS personnel can complete additional precautionary evaluations and assist the district in contacting parents/guardians of all students who were on the bus," Superintendent Creasman said. More information about the crash will be released as it's made available.
