Five injured in boat crash at Lake of the Ozarks
CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A man and four children from St. Joseph, Missouri, were injured in a boating accident at the Lake of the Ozarks on Monday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), at around 11:30 a.m., their boat hit a log that was partially submerged in the water at the 38.8-mile marker of the Lake of the Ozarks, south of Sunrise Beach. The 42-year-old driver of the boat suffered minor injuries. Two boys, aged 12 and 13, received moderate injuries, and two other boys, aged 12 and 13, received minor injuries. All five injured in the crash were transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment.
