Fiery crash on N Columbia Blvd leaves 5 hospitalized, road closed in both directions
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A fiery crash on North Columbia Boulevard has shut down the road in both directions after several people were sent to the hospital, authorities said. The Portland Police Bureau said officers responded just after 8 p.m. to reports of a crash under the I-5 highway on Columbia Blvd. When police arrived, they found that a car involved in the crash had caught on fire. Five occupants of the car were taken to area hospitals with injuries, and they're expected to survive, police said. N Columbia Bld is closed in both directions between North Albina Street and the I-5 southbound onramp. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Portland police.
