Female dies in multiple-car collision on I-91 south in Enfield
A tragic accident occurred on I-91 south in Enfield on Monday, resulting in the loss of a woman's life. Connecticut State Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash near Exit 46 around 3 p.m., which caused significant injuries and road closures due to snowy conditions. Sabria Hardy, a 38-year-old from Bloomfield, passed away from her injuries after being involved in a collision. The incident involved Sabria's Mitsubishi and an Acura that were stopped in a lane following a prior accident, with Sabria inside the Acura when it was struck by a Jeep traveling southbound. The driver of the Acura was hospitalized for minor injuries, while the Jeep's driver declined medical assistance. The affected stretch of I-91 has since reopened after investigations.
