Fatal wrong-way crash on I-285 leaves one dead, one injured.
A recent tragic incident on Interstate 285 northbound resulted in a fatality and injury. The crash, which occurred near the Benjamin E. Mays Bridge around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, involved a 21-year-old driver going the wrong way on the highway. This driver collided with a vehicle operated by a 40-year-old individual, leading to the death of the latter. The 21-year-old survived but sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
