Fatal three-vehicle collision overnight on Beltway in Woodlawn according to police
A fatal collision occurred on the Beltway in Woodlawn, where a person lost their life, according to Maryland State Police. Faith Tingen Tikum, aged 28 and from Parkville, had pulled over late at night on the left side of the Beltway's Outer Loop near Security Boulevard to assist a stranded driver. A SUV collided with the parked cars at around 11:51 p.m., causing the vehicles to hit the individuals outside. Unfortunately, Tikum passed away at the hospital, while the other two drivers were also hospitalized. Police suspect impairment could have contributed to the accident, and their investigation is ongoing.
