Fatal solo motorcycle accident on Jacks Ranch Road in Mojave area Friday afternoon
A motorcyclist tragically lost their life on Friday afternoon following an accident on Jacks Ranch Road in the Mojave region, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred at approximately 2:38 p.m. on Jacks Ranch Road, just south of Upjohn Avenue. The rider, traveling south on a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle, unexpectedly veered off the road to the west and was thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The CHP stated that there is no suspicion of driver impairment as a contributing factor at this time. For information regarding the victim's identity, please contact the Kern County Coroner's Office.
