Fatal semi truck rollover on I-90
A fatal accident occurred on Wednesday night on the Kennedy Expressway when a semi-truck carrying meat overturned in the southbound lanes near Belmont Avenue around 11:35 p.m. Illinois State Police responded to the scene and the driver was tragically pronounced dead at a local hospital. The Cook County medical examiner's office has not released the driver's identity. The exact cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.
