Fatal Rollover Crash on US-60: DPS
Officials from the Department of Public Safety have reported that one person has tragically passed away following a rollover accident that caused traffic congestion along a section of US-60 on the morning of December 26th. The incident took place on US-60 east near Crismon Road. A 1999 maroon Chevy SUV veered off the road for reasons yet to be determined, as stated in the report. Two individuals were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. Sadly, one of the occupants was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the crash site. The freeway was temporarily shut down for investigation purposes but has now been completely reopened. The authorities are conducting an ongoing investigation into the matter.
