McIntosh County crash kills Oklahoma teen, injures 6 others

Officials say a 17-year-old Oklahoma teenager has been killed in a car accident in McIntosh County. Shortly before 5 a.m. on Wednesday, emergency crews were called to an accident along I-40 at mile marker 254 in McIntosh County. Authorities say a vehicle was heading westbound on I-40 in the inside lane when it left the roadway and hit a tree. According to the accident report, a 17-year-old passenger who was sitting behind the driver's seat was ejected and died from their injuries. The report states the other 5 passengers inside the vehicle and the driver were injured in the crash.
