Fatal rollover crash in Escondido claims life of Valley Center resident
A tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning in Escondido, resulting in the death of a young man from Valley Center. The 22-year-old lost control of his vehicle and crashed on East El Norte Parkway, just east of Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle struck a tree and rolled over into a backyard. The driver, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was declared dead at the scene. Fortunately, there were no other vehicles involved, and no witnesses are known. The East El Norte Parkway had to be closed for several hours to facilitate investigation and clear the scene. It is uncertain whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, as the investigation continues.
