Fatal Rollover Crash in Central California: 2 Dead, 4 Ejected, CHP Reports

Officials report that a tragic accident in Madera County resulted in the loss of two lives and multiple injuries. The incident occurred when a car collided with a large truck and overturned at the intersection of Road 23 and Avenue 13, southwest of Madera city. The collision unfolded as a Honda CRV failed to yield at a stop sign, crashing into the trailer of the big rig. Subsequently, the Honda spun out of control, ultimately flipping over. The four occupants of the Honda, comprising three men and a woman, were ejected from the vehicle. Regrettably, two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while the others sustained serious injuries. Fortunately, the 47-year-old driver of the big rig from Lodi emerged unharmed. Authorities suspect that the use of alcohol or drugs may have played a role in the incident, although further investigation is ongoing.
