Fatal pedestrian crash kills 70-year-old, driver arrested
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a car-versus-pedestrian crash that killed a 70-year-old.It happened near 12th Street and Atkinson Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.According to the MPD, the victim was crossing the street when the car hit them. Police arrested the driver at the scene, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County district attorney's office.The crash remains under investigation.
