Fatal multi-vehicle crash in Anaheim during police pursuit
The streets of Placentia were left scattered with wreckage and the twisted remnants of three vehicles after a high-speed chase by the Anaheim Police Department culminated in a violent and lethal collision. The pursuit had commenced at around 7:41 p.m. and came to a dramatic end at the junction of Bradford Avenue and Madison Avenue in Placentia. Emergency responders from the Placentia Fire and Life Safety Department were alerted to the crash at the same intersection at approximately 7:44 p.m. Tragically, law enforcement confirmed that one individual lost their life in the accident, although it remained unclear whether it was the fleeing suspect or an innocent onlooker.
