Fatal motorcycle crash on State Road 436, driver injured
A tragic incident occurred on State Road 436 at the intersection of Lake Pleasant Road, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old woman. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a collision took place between a 2024 Ford Maverick and a 2012 Harley Davidson Road King. The Ford Maverick attempted a U-turn into the path of the Harley Davidson, leading to a fatal outcome. The motorcycle passengers were thrown from the vehicle due to the impact. While the Ford Maverick occupants were unharmed, the motorcycle rider sustained non-life-threatening injuries and the female passenger was unfortunately pronounced dead at AdventHealth Apopka. The crash is currently being investigated by authorities.
